12/30 (Friday) is the waxing moon, and 12/8 (Thursday) is the full moon.
This month's full moon day is a total lunar eclipse.
How about taking a picture of the moon with your smartphone at night when the moon looks bright with large binoculars?
12/14 (Wednesday) to 26(Monday)★Period when the constellation looks beautiful

12/23 (Friday) is the new moon.You can see the constellations well at this time when the moonlight is low.
It's the time when the winter constellations are visible in the eastern sky.

The Geminid meteor shower will peak on the 14th, and the Ursa Minor shower will peak on the 23rd.

    Inside You can enjoy starry sky observation by entering the kotatsu installed in the lawn.

    Fee: Adults 500 yen, elementary and junior high school students 300 yen
         Kotatsu rental 1 unit 2,000 yen

    Special binoculars rental,Hot drink,With warmer
             
    Reservation required Limited to 4 groups per day
    Participation conditions are for family members living together and those who are in daily contact (up to 4 people per group).

    Please wear a mask as a measure against infectious diseases.

    The letter "X" will appear on the moon around 19:50 on Wednesday, October 13th.
    Let's check the situation with a large telescope.
    Observation time is
    We will guide you twice from (1) 19:20 and (2) 20:00.
    In addition to observations with a large telescope, we are planning to take pictures with a smartphone with large binoculars.
